Hike in the price of petroleum products challenged in LHC

LAHORE (PPI): Hike in petroleum products price has been challenged in Lahore High Court (LHC).

The petition has been filed by a citizen Munir Ahmad through Azhar Siddique advocate making ministry of petroleum, OGRA and others respondents.

It has been said in the petition that hike in the prices of petroleum products is illegal. The court should nullify this enhancement in the prices of petroleum products.

It is pertinent to mention here government has scaled up the prices of petroleum products and with this increase the new price of petrol per liter has been fixed Rs 272, high speed diesel Rs 280 and light speed diesel Rs 196.68.
