Desalination plant with capacity of 1.2 million gallons to complete soon: Pasand Khan

GWADAR (6 AM Report): Gwadar Port Authority Chairman Pasand Khan Buledi has said that the work on the construction of water desalination plant to supply 1.2 million gallons of clean drinking water to the residents of Gwadar city is going on fast.
“75% of the work has been completed,” he expressed these views while talking during the briefing on the occasion of the visit to the under-construction water plant.
A water desalination water plant to supply 1.2 million gallons of clean drinking water per day is being installed with a grant of 2 billion rupees from China. He said that this under-construction water plant project is progressing along with the construction of 1.2 million gallons per day water desalination plant as well as the laying of about 1 km long water supply line from the Gwadar Port Authority plant to the main water supply network of Gwadar city.
He said that the 1.2 million gallons per day water desalination plant is spread over an area of about one acre. He said that the water desalination plant is being completed with the cooperation of Gwadar Port Authority and China Harbor Engineering Company. This plant project is Gwadar. It will be enough to meet the water demand of the city and Gwadar port.
