PkMAP’s Khurshed Kakaji lashes out PDM for anti-poor policies
QUETTA (6 AM Report) : Central General Secretary of Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), Khursheed Kakaji, has strongly condemned the PDM government’s dropping inflation bomb on the people and said that the rulers and the parties who are part of PDM will face anger of the poor people as a result of these anti-people decisions.
In a statement issued here on Friday, he said that the PkMAP will not remain silent on these cruel policies and decisions and will fight hard together with the people against robbing the people’s rights and taking away their daily bread.
He was of the view that the power of the country’s political and economic policies is still in the hands of the establishment and its patrons, capitalists and landlords, who have no sense and understanding of the problems of the poor people and are not sensitive to the effects of inflation.
He added that these privileged classes have arranged their business and residence in foreign countries, and they only choose this country for burial after death, adding that they have also transferred all their capital abroad, so there is no harm in dropping inflation bomb on the poor people of the country as their luxurious life in other continues is not affected.
He said in the statement that the workers of the parties included in the PDM also have the responsibility to hold the leaders of their parties accountable for these anti-people decisions and stand with their people in this hour of difficulty for democracy and Give proof of public friendliness.
He also demanded that instead of turning the tide of inflation towards the people, a complete ban on all non-developmental and defense expenditure should be imposed, and the capital made through illegal means and transferred abroad should be brought back.
“Instead of increasing the cost of electricity, gas and other basic human needs on IMF’s behest, economic conditions should be controlled by burdening the industrialists, landlords and privileged classes,” he said and added that there is still time for the voice of the people to be heard and the people should not be pushed into a worse situation.
He said that the party is ready for all kinds of protests in view of the problems of its people and will definitely hold accountable those who take cruel decisions with the power of the people.
