QUETTA (6 AM Report): The Leaders of Balochistan National Party Mengal (BNP-M) have said that the solution to the problem of Balochistan is political, showing a concern on human rights violation in Balochistan.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Abdul Wali Kakar, Jahanzaib Jamaldini and others said that a delegation of their party has also met the Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to discuss the impending issues of Balochistan, adding that earlier men were picked up, now women are also being picked up from their homes.

They said that children were killed and recovered from the house of a minister and it is not known whether the minister has been named in the FIR or not, adding that after a complete investigation, the report should be brought before the public and if the demands are not met, they can quit the central and provincial governments.

They said that Mahal Baloch was picked from her home and later a story was fabricated that she was arrested from a park, adding that PM Shehbaz has asked for some tome on the matter. The BNP leaders said that the biggest issue in Balochistan is the issue of missing persons on which they had resigned earlier from Senate and Assemblies. They said that they had been compelled to protest, adding the PM had assured them he would come to Quetta himself to review all the matters himself.

Jahanzaib Jamalidi said that on 3rd February, Raheem Zehri and his wife were picked from Quetta and illegal tactics were used to muffle the voice of BNP, adding that Mahal Baloch’s orphan children were sitting in Red Zone for seeking justice for their beloved mother.

Regarding elections in the country, he said that BNP desired elections as per the constitution.
