CC&I urged to play role of bridge between govt, business community

QUETTA (6 AM Report): Hafeezullah, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), Pishin, has said that Pishin Chamber of Commerce and Industry should play the role of bridge between government and business community so as to boost revenue of the county.

These views were expressed by him while addressing a seminar titled “Economy and Revenue” held under the auspices of Pishin Chamber of Commerce and Industry here on Saturday. Felicitating the office bearers of Pishin Chamber and Commerce and Industry to have arranged a seminar on the subject “Economy and Revenue”, he said that in order to bring government and business community closer to each other, Pishin Chamber and Commerce would have to play the role of bridge.

Addressing the seminar, Coordinator to Chief Minister, Noor Khan Tarin said that the

arrangement of such seminars would help create awareness regarding boosting revenue and economy of the country. Hailing the services rendered by Pishin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he said that such seminars would acquaint the people of Pishin, a district where there was neither border trade nor was there any industry, with the business communication with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA), and required documents like Income Tax, Sales Tax, Bank Guarantee and other essential documents required for legal trade and business. Addressing the seminar, President, Pishin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Syed Abdul Bari Agha and Ex-President, Muhammad Asif Tareen said that increase in the revenue of the country was possible only at that time when business community and government was on one page, adding that there was lack of confidence between government and business community that needed to be addressed.
