Nawaz directs PML-N to make preparations for election

ISLAMABAD (Online): PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif has directed PML-N to make preparations for election.

Meeting of PML-N central leaders was held under Prime Minister (PM) Shahbaz Sharif Saturday.

A set of issues ranging from  economic and political situation and strategy for coming election came under discussion in the meeting.

Addressing the meeting Nawaz Sharif said  party should make preparations for election no matter what decision  of Supreme Court comes.

He urged that  before finalizing the name of candidates first of all their loyalty to party be checked. The influence of the candidate in his own constituency be checked before awarding ticket. The result of previous election in the constituency be kept in view.  The differences in the party should be eliminated. The selfless people who are annoyed with the party should be brought in the party.

Proper adjustment be made with reference to ticket holders of national assembly and provincial assemblies.

Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif, Maryum Nawaz, Marriyem Aurangzeb, Pervez Rashid, Rana Sana Ullah,Khawaja Saad Rafiq and Ayyaz Sadiq were present in video link meeting.

Meanwhile PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif has declared Imran Khan jail bharo drive unnecessary.

Former Prime Minister (PM) AJK Raja Farooq Haider Khan met Nawaz Sharif in London.

Terming the PTI chairman Imran Khan jail bharo drive unimportant Nawaz Sharif said there is nothing in Jail Bharo drive.

Raja Farooq Haider said Mian Nawaz Sharif has expressed reservations on the incumbent AJK government. We will think over it along with other parties if we bring vote of no trust then will it be beneficial for the people or otherwise, he added.
