PPP biggest central party of the province with increasing popularity in Balochistan: Zahri
KHUZDAR: Former Chief Minister of Balochistan, Central Leader of People’s Party, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zahri has said that PPP is the biggest political and democratic party of Pakistan, and the sacrifices of the leadership of the party for the stability of the country of Pakistan, establishment of a democracy are immortalized in history with golden words.
Speaking here on to the newly elected cabinet of Khuzdar Press Club on Saturday, he said that positive policies of the party leadership and our efforts have made Balochistan the center of PPP, adding that the party will be in a position to form the government and the reason for such a positive change is the result of our joining the party and the continuous efforts of his colleagues.
He said that the journalists associated with Khuzdar Press Club have performed their journalistic duties in a better way in adverse conditions, offering them all the support from his end.
He said that the position of the party in Balochistan is continuously increasing, adding that during the recent local elections, PPP won in Khuzdar district, Shaheed Sikandar district, Jaffareabad, Kalat Mastung, Naseerbad with clear majority. He further added that PPP will prefer electoral alliance with democratic political parties in upcoming elections, but alliance with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam will be our priority, democracy means recognizing the majority of the rival party and obstinacy is against the spirit of democracy.
He was of the view that in the election of mayor and deputy mayor of the municipal corporation, the elected people should recognize the democratic decision that the people have expressed their confidence in our candidates.
Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zahri further said that he had done record development work in Balochistan and especially in Jhalwan, which is unprecedented in the past, adding that due to this good performance, some people were afraid of his performance. He said that many more important mega-projects were included in my victories and if his government was allowed to work, he would have changed the map of Balochistan with his development schemes.
