Reko Diq to usher new era of development: Yousafzai

QUETTA (6 AM Report): Chief Minister Balochistan’s coordinator Babar Yousafzai, while meeting with various delegations on Saturday, has said that credit for maintaining peace and order in the province goes to the security forces, Pakistan Army and other law enforcement agencies.

He said that CM Bizenjo is trying to provide better facilities to the people and after the Reko Diq agreement, a new era of development will usher in Balochistan. Reko Diq agreement is the biggest agreement in history regarding minerals, he said and added that after the agreement, thousands of employment opportunities will be created in the province.

“Employment will be provided on the basis of Reko Diq agreement, the foreign exchange reserves will be strong and the country’s economy will improve. The Chief Minister of Balochistan increased the share of Balochistan to 25%. They are determined to get Balochistan out of difficult situations by working hard. God willing, they will set new paths for development and construction in Balochistan,” Yousafzai said and added that the report of the problems will be submitted to the Chief Minister, who will also release a detailed report on the media on the steps taken by Government of Balochistan.
