Offers letters to doctors in remote district issued: Babar

QUETTA (6 AM Report): Babar Yousafzai Spokesperson Chief Minister Balochistan has said that following the approval from the provincial cabinet, the health department has issued offer letters for 849 doctors outside Quetta.

According to the details, the doctors who have been issued offer letters include 131 consultants, 50 specialists, 270 medical officers, 313 lady medical officers and 75 dental surgeons.

Yousafzai said that doctors have been appointed in all the districts of Balochistan, adding that consultants include surgeons, physicians, radiologists, peds surgeons, gastroenterologists, ENT surgeons, and gynecologists.

According to the spokesperson, medical officers, lady medical officers and dental surgeons have been posted in all district headquarters hospitals, tehsil headquarters, civil hospitals of Balochistan.

He said that this initiative would met the shortage of doctors in the peripheries.
