23rd March a day to renew resolve for national unity: CM Bizenjo

QUETTA (6 AM Report): Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo has said that March 23, 1940 is a great day in the history of the subcontinent which is a proud day for all Pakistanis that the day on which the Pakistan Resolution was presented, which proved to be a milestone in the struggle of the Muslims of India towards Pakistan. In one of his messages issued on the occasion of Pakistan Day, the Chief Minister said that today’s day is a joint reflection of thought of Iqbal, adding that on this day, the Muslim of sub-continent determined their future and Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s vision, conviction, political tact, and practical struggle fully supported this determination, who declared Muslims not a minority but a separate nation with a unique identity of its own and which did not accept any such constitution.
He said that the practical example of this was the elections of 1945 in which the Muslims got a clear political advantage, adding that today is also the day to renew the promise that we will not hesitate to make any sacrifice for the security, stability and development of our homeland and to achieve this goal as a united nation, and we will use all our capabilities. He said that the people of Balochistan are patriots and they will not become an instrument of any foreign propaganda against Pakistan and the Pakistan Army.
