Zia Langau instructs authorities to remain high alert during rains

QUETTA (6 AM Report): A meeting regarding the recent spell of rains was held through video link under the chairmanship of Provincial Home Minister PPDMA Mir Ziaullah Langau, here on Friday.
According to the details, deputy commissioners including DGP DMA gave a briefing in the meeting and DG PDMA informed about the situation and measures taken following rains in the province
During the meeting arrangements were reviewed to deal with any possible situation during rains in the province and the Department of PDMA and district administration were directed to remain on high alert. The Home Minister said that that PDMA will provide all possible support to district administration and rescue organizations in relief work, adding that special teams should be formed to provide timely assistance to citizens and protect lives and property during heavy rains.
He also directed that in any emergency, additional teams should be kept ready to protect precious human lives.
DG PDMA said that all the arrangements have been completed in the light of the directives of the Chief Minister and Home Minister, adding that PDMA is always ready to deal with emergency situation on emergency basis he further said that machinery and staff of PDMA are present in rain-affected areas.
