CS directs to accelerate pace of work on dev. projects under Quetta development package
QUETTA (6 AM Report): Chief Secretary Balochistan Abdul Aziz Uqaili on Sunday visited the Sariab Road, Sabzal Road, Western Bypass, and Radio Pakistan Road development projects under construction in the city under the Quetta/Chief Minister Development Package.
He was also flanked by Commissioner Quetta Sohailur Rehman Baloch, Information Secretary Hamza Shafqat, Deputy Commissioner Quetta Shahak Baloch, Administrator Quetta Abdul Jabbar Baloch, Project Director Rafiq Baloch and other relevant officials. The Chief Secretary made a detailed visit to the Sariab Road, Radio Pakistan Road, Link Badini Road projects under the Quetta Development Package and reviewed the progress of the construction work on the development projects.
He directed to accelerate the pace of work on the development projects under the development package and said that all obstacles on the development projects should be removed as soon as possible.
He said that the speed of work on the Sariab Road Development Project should be accelerated and its completion should be ensured within the stipulated period. He said that the problems faced by the projects should be resolved quickly and also directed to review the progress of work on the projects on a daily basis.
He directed the concerned authorities to complete the link Badini, Radio Pakistan to Western Bypass, Sabzal Road on both sides as soon as possible.
He said that the improvement of Quetta city, with their timely completion, Quetta will become a modern, beautiful and developed city and also directed to secure the trees on the roads of development projects. He said that the Quetta development package will be an important milestone for the development of the city, if the development projects are completed on time, there will be development and the people will be prosperous. Besides, a meeting was also held on Saturday under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary regarding the aforementioned development projects. While giving a detailed briefing to the meeting, it was told that the speed of work on Anscombe, Sirki, Kidney Center Road development projects should be accelerated. The Chief Secretary directed that the development projects of the city should be completed as soon as possible.
