Hashmi defends Maulana Hidayat’s struggle as pro-poor

QUETTA (6 AM Report): Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan Maulana Abdul Haq Hashmi on Sunday has said that the double standard of justice in relation to Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch, unjustified opposition and excuses are not acceptable.
“Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch started the struggle in a constitutional way to challenge the oppressed capitalists and extortionists,” he said adding that championing the rights of the oppressed people, they got the courage and consciousness to achieve their constitutional rights.
He said that Jamaat-e-Islami was raising voice on every forum for the rights of the nation, adding that if the looters lose their power, they will run away from the country and their children were in foreign countries. He said that Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch and his colleagues encouraged people to raise their sincere voice for the legitimate rights, adding Maulana’s struggle is not for the personal interests of any regional party, but against oppression, extortion and looting.
“If the demands of Maulana Hidayatur Rehman Baloch are accepted, then they are in the benefit of the people of Pakistan and the entire Balochistan. Only looters and extortionists are opposed to this struggle, while Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch, who sees the suffering of the people, and his struggle will not be opposed in any way,” he added.
