QUETTA (6 AM Report): Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) Senior Deputy Chairman Raza Muhammad Raza, Deputy Chairman Hameed Khan and Secretary General Khursheed Kakaji have called the formation of Pashtun national narrative as the most important need of the hour.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, they said that the political and democratic parties of Pashtun movement and civil society organizations should unite and play a role in liberating the nation from slavery, hunger and poverty, ignorance and terrorism.

They further said that the worst exploitation of the people of the Pashtun homeland has been going on for the past 70 years, adding that the income from the national resources is being used against the nation in the name of the so-called war to eradicate terrorism.

They said that the political democratic parties, movements, organizations and every conscious individual of our country have now realized how the division of the Pashtun homeland has been continued.

“What were the motivations behind imposing terrorism? And for what purposes were our oppressed and innocent people martyred in thousands? Our zealous people have also realized that the purpose of laying barbed wire on the Durand Line is the economic blockade of the people living on both sides so as to impose such a condition on this nation that it accepts the division of British colonialism and its independence, national identity,” they added.
