QUETTA (6 AM Report): Home Minister Mir Zia Langau was briefed at the Provincial Emergency Center regarding the recent rains during his visit at Provincial Disaster Manageement Authority (PDMA), on Wednesday.
According to the details, he was also briefed about the damages caused in Zhob, Gwadar and Hub due to recent rains. DG PDMA Naseer Ahmad Nasir summarized the overall situation on the occasion and the Home Minister was given a detailed brief on the current and expected situation of all districts. Home Minister appreciated PDMA for providing timely updates and rescue service and said that the aim of PDMA is to come forward in disaster.
He further said that on the instructions of the Prime Minister, the ration of Ramadan will be distributed to the flood victims and the deserving families soon.
“We are concerned about the deserving and affected people, we are trying to serve beyond our means,” said Langau.
