AC conducts on hotels to check adulteration in food, milk products

USTA MUHAMMAD (6 AM Report): Assistant Commissioner Usta Muhammad Sagar Kumuar conducted raids on Saturday on hotels and various areas of the city, including milk shops and bakeries, after receiving reports of adulteration in food and milk products.

He was accompanied by Zonal Director Food Authority Nasirabad Imadad Ali Abro. During the raids, the quality of food and drink items was checked to ensure they were not contaminated or adulterated. Several milk sellers and food vendors were fined for selling substandard items or for adulterating milk. They were also instructed to avoid adulteration, as Islam forbids us from earning illegitimate profits and engaging in such activities.

He said that strict action would be taken against those who sold substandard items or engaged in adulteration.

The officials of the Balochistan Food Authority also took samples of various items for testing and seized adulterated ghee and milk from the hotel. The shopkeepers were warned that if such an act was repeated, they would be subjected to heavier fines. The traders were advised to sell standard quality products to the public.
