Kibzai briefed on mining industry’s upcoming projects in Khuzdar
KHUZDAR (6 AM Report): Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar, Major (Retd) Muhammad Ilyas Kibzai, visited the Balochistan Mines and Minerals Department on Saturday, where he was briefed on the mining industry and upcoming projects related to the exploration of new minerals.
The meeting was attended by Muhammad Rafique Khawar, the Manager of Balochistan Mines and Minerals Department, along with his staff. The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) and the Assistant Commissioner were also present during the meeting.
During the briefing, Major (Retd) Muhammad Ilyas Kibzai was given an overview of the mining industry and the potential for further expansion, which would benefit the people of Khuzdar. He was informed that Bolan Mining Enterprises is the only industrial unit in Khuzdar, and it is the responsibility of the Mines and Minerals Department to ensure that the people of the area benefit from the industry.
Major (Retd) Muhammad Ilyas Kibzai emphasized the need for the department to take steps to improve the living standards of the people of Khuzdar and work towards providing better healthcare and education programs, as well as clean drinking water.
He also stressed the importance of continuing the work that has been done in the past and taking measures to further expand the industry under his project. The Balochistan Mines and Minerals Department assured him that they will continue to work towards improving the mining industry and bringing about positive changes in the lives of the people of Khuzdar.
