Shirazi demands implementation Apex Court’s decision of holding elections in 90 days
QUETTA (6 AM Report): The Central Secretary General of the Majlis Wahadat ul Muslimeen Syed Nasser Abbas Shirazi, has demanded that the government immediately implement the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the constitution and the law and to conduct general elections.
He stated that not holding elections within 90 days would be a violation of the constitution and the law. He held the current rulers, including Asif Ali Zardari, Shehbaz Sharif, and Maulana Fazlur Rehman, responsible for the current inflation in the country and for deliberately recognizing Israel.
He also announced to hold hold a protest against this on 23 Ramadan. Several leaders were present during this announcement, including Allama Maqsood Ahmed Domki, Agha Raza, Agha Ibrahim Agha, and others. They stated that Pakistan was going through a difficult time, and the current rulers had subjected the people to crises. The inflation was a result of their policies. They also expressed concern about China’s use of Pakistan against its rival, and the fact that more than 40 million people in Pakistan are living below the poverty line. They condemned the rising inflation and economic instability in the country.
