SIBI: The Deputy Commissioner of Sibi, Mansoor Qazi, has announced the launch of the Safe City Project in Sibi as part of the initiative, CCTV cameras that would be installed throughout the city to trace terrorists, criminals, and vehicles.
A official handout said that the complete system consisting of cameras and LCDs was purchased during the Sibi Mela in recent days and will now be installed with the support of the police.
Qazi, along with SSP Sibi Engineer Yusuf Karim Bhangar, has signed the TROs for the installation of the cameras.
The officials believe that the cameras will help control the law and order situation and monitor criminal activities, including the arrest of individuals. A control room will be established by the police to monitor the situation of the entire city.
The Safe City Project is expected to improve the law and order situation in Sibi and ensure the safety of the citizens.
