Peaceful environment will be provided to lawyers
Quetta Bar Association members call on Gichki
QUETTA(6 AM Report): Imran Gichki, the Principal Secretary of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo, met with a delegation of the Quetta Bar Association on the instructions of the Chief Minister. The meeting was attended by Vice President of Quetta Muhammad Abbas Kakar and other officials of the association. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the lack of funds for the welfare association of Quetta lawyers, which has made it difficult to continue the welfare programs for lawyers. During the meeting, the Principal Secretary assured the delegation that the Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo values the role of the lawyers’ community and is committed to the construction and development of the province. He informed the delegation that the Chief Minister has given a special grant-in-aid to the bar councils and district bar associations in the province to address their financial challenges.
The Principal Secretary further stated that the problems of the lawyers’ community will be solved on a priority basis, and the Chief Minister has issued a grant-in-aid check of Rs. 5 million to support the Quetta Bar Association. He also assured the delegation that a peaceful environment will be provided to the lawyers under the direction of the Chief Minister.
The Vice President of Quetta Bar Association, Muhammad Abbas Kakar, expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and his team for their support to the lawyers’ community. He also highlighted the challenges faced by the lawyers in Quetta and the need for additional support to improve the welfare programs for lawyers.
