Zia, Farah Azeem condemn terrorist incident in Quetta

QUETTA (6 AM Report): Home Minister Balochistan, Mir Ziaullah Langove and speokesperson for government of Balochistan Ms. Farah Azeem Shah have strongly condemned the bomb blast at Quetta’s Shahrah-e-Iqbal, on Monday.
Home Minister has asked the concerned authorities to present a report on the incident and expressed solidarity with the families of the victims.
He also directed the officials to carry out snap checking on internal and external routes to prevent such attacks. The minister emphasized that the provincial government’s top priority is to eliminate terrorism. He further added that the elements involved in terrorism would soon be eliminated.
The minister also prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and for the patience of their families.
Ms. Shah said that the security forces and civilians cannot be demoralized by such brutal acts of terrorism, and the culprits responsible for the heinous crime must be brought to justice. “The sacrifices of the security forces to protect the lives and property of the people will not go in vain, and any attempt to harm innocent people will be met with fierce resistance by the entire nation,” she said. The provincial government spokesperson prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and expressed solidarity with their families. They also prayed for the quick recovery of the injured individuals and officials. The spokesperson reiterated that efforts were underway to maintain a peaceful environment in the province, and the terrorist attack during the holy month of Ramadan was regrettable.
