Establishment of Institute of Forensic Sciences in Balochistan approved
QUETTA (6 AM Report): The Chief Secretary of Balochistan, Abdul Aziz Uqaili, chaired a meeting on Tuesday regarding the establishment of an Institute of Forensic Sciences in the province.
During the meeting, it was decided that the Secretary of Colleges will provide a building for the institute to Save Our Society (SOS), while other expenses related to the institution will be borne by SOS as per the policy approved by the Council of the Institute.
The Institute will provide scholarships to the students of Balochistan and will also reserve a quota for them in the admission process.
As per the decision, a 10% quota for admission will be reserved for the natives of Balochistan, and it will be equally distributed among all the divisions of the province.
The institute will also provide scholarships to students from the backward areas of Balochistan. The establishment of the Institute of Forensic Sciences in the province is a significant step towards the provision of quality education to the youth of Balochistan, and it will also help in the development of the field of forensic sciences in the region.
