QUETTA (6 AM Report): Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo has issued a directive to senior officers and secretaries to address public problems with a compassionate attitude and improved coordination with subordinate officers and staff.
The chief minister expressed his displeasure with complaints of inappropriate behavior towards junior officers and subordinate staff, stating that such behavior negatively impacts their morale and performance.
CM said that if a subordinate officer makes a mistake, the proper protocol should be followed, including asking them to provide a written explanation in accordance with the rules and regulations.
He also stated that scolding a subordinate officer in front of others could negatively impact their self-respect and urged senior officers to respect their subordinates and encourage them to build their confidence.
Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo emphasized the importance of respecting each other as a fundamental aspect of Shariah and moral responsibility, as well as a long-standing tradition in the province.
“Failure to uphold this principle may result in disciplinary action against senior officers. The Law Department has been instructed to draft legislation in this regard, which will be presented to the Cabinet and the Assembly,” He said.
In addition to addressing personnel issues, the chief minister has also directed that bullet-proof vehicles used by field officers be immediately collected in a pool. This measure aims to ensure the safety and security of officers on duty.
The Chief Minister’s directive underscores the government’s commitment to establishing a work environment that fosters respect, compassion, and efficient coordination among senior and subordinate officers and staff. By doing so, the government hopes to improve performance, morale, and public satisfaction with government services.
