QUETTA (6 AM Report): Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar, inaugurated the train service on Saturday, following the reconstruction of the damaged Heroak Bridge due to recent heavy rainfall.
Commissioner Quetta Division, Sohail ur Rehman and DS Railways, Farid Ahmad, were also present at the inauguration of the train service.
It should be noted that last year in August 2022, the Heroak Bridge in Bolan was damaged by Monsoon rains. After a closure of eight months, the restoration of the provincial capital’s train service has brought joy to the people. With the resumption of train service, a special Eid train also departed from Quetta.
The train journey is still the cheapest and most comfortable way to travel. The revival of train service has provided safe travel facilities to the people across the province.
