QUETTA (6 AM Report): Former Chief Minister of Balochistan and Chief of Sarawan, Nawab Mohammad Aslam Raisani, has said the matter of elections in 90 days and Apex Court’s emphasis for Punjab in this regard and silence for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa makes it clear that this was is for the throne of Lahore with least regard to the rest of federating units of the province. He said that borrowing called with fancy names such as financing, and then the military might is used with that money.
He expressed these views in his statement issued here on Tuesday. Nawab Mohammad Aslam Raisani said that according to the constitution, elections were to be held in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 90 days, but the Supreme Court has decided that there will be an election in Punjab in 90 days and has been silent for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, indicating that the real war is being fought for Lahore.
“It doesn’t matter what’s happening in the rest of the federation. Similarly, the issue of missing Baloch persons are not getting justice. There are different decisions for a ruler and the ruled,” he noted. He said that he was saddened by the news of the death of Mir Manzoor Hussain Langau, and in this moment of grief, he offers condolences and pray to Allah to grant him a high position in Paradise.
