Governor commends HEC for providing scholarships to Gwadar students

QUETTA (6 AM Report): Governor Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar on Wednesday has praised the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for providing 200 scholarships to students in Gwadar and the adjacent coastal areas.
The Governor emphasized that Gwadar is the hope for the bright future of Pakistan and the young generation of the coastal belt cannot be ignored. He appreciated the HEC’s efforts to provide scholarships to deserving and capable students, saying that it will help students continue their education without any financial difficulties.
The Governor expressed his gratitude to the Chairman of the HEC, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, for the announcement. He also hoped that the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Shehbaz Sharif, will continue to provide support by providing more scholarships and laptops for poor students.
Governor Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar stated that it is their responsibility to provide all the necessary educational facilities to the youth of the province and take steps to secure their future. The Governor further added that it is their desire and effort to expand the program of providing scholarships and laptops to all educational institutions in Balochistan.
