9 Pakistanis umrah pilgrims killed in road accident
PM directs Pakistani embassy in KSA to assist bus accident’s affected people
RIYADH (Online): At least 9 Pakistanis were killed in a road accident near Al-Qassim area while they were on their way to Riyadh after performing Umrah.
According to Arab media those killed in the accident hailed from Islamnagar and Nankana Sahib. They had gone to Saudi Arab on visit visa.
Those who were killed are Zulfiqar Ali, Shahbaz Ali, Umme Amara wife of Shahbaz Ali.Ammarya Bibi, Haram Fatima, Muhammad Dawood, Tehreem Fatima and Hareem Fatima.
The deceased belonged to two families and they included wife, daughters and sons. Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has expressed grief and sorrow over the tragic bus incident carrying Pakistani Umrah pilgrims..
He prayed May Almighty Allah rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant them highest place in Jannah
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday directed the Pakistan embassy in Saudi Arabia to provide all possible assistance to Pakistani Umra pilgrims affected in a bus accident. Nine Pakistani citizens including women and children were killed and five Umrah pilgrims sustained injuries in the traffic accident near Al-Qassim area. The prime minister expressed sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives in the pilgrims’ bus accident.
The prime minister prayed to Allah Almighty for grant of eternal peace to the departed souls and for early recovery of the injured.
