Pak-Afghan border to remain closed until 24th April

CHAMAN: In view of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations, the Pak-Afghan friendship chapter will be closed for transportation from 21st April until April 24, according to security sources.
The decision was taken to ensure the safety and security of the people during the festive occasion. The friendship gate will be open for transportation only during specific hours between 11:30 am and 4:30 pm, and again from 6:30 pm onwards. It is important for people to be aware of the timings and plan their travels accordingly. The security forces have been put on high alert to ensure that no untoward incident takes place during this time.
The authorities have urged people to cooperate with the security forces and follow the necessary precautions for their own safety.
The Pak-Afghan friendship gate is an important border crossing point between the two countries, and the closure of transportation during the Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations is a common practice to ensure the safety of the people.
