QUETTA (6 AM Report): Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan, Maulana Abdul Haq Hashmi, expressed concern over the worsening political and democratic crisis due to the ruling parties’ behavior, which is causing harm to the country, institutions, and people.
He added that the fight between the judiciary, politicians, and the establishment is causing more harm than good. Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch, who faced false cases, imprisonment, and imprisonment with courage, is a victim of the negative attitude of the authorities. Hashmi said that Jamaat-e-Islami will continue the public struggle for the democratic rights of oppressed people in every forum.
He further added that the ruling parties’ focus on personal interests is worsening the problems of the people, and there is no one to ask them about it. “Everywhere, looting is going on, and the voice is being raised in every forum against looting in the name of security,” Hashmi said and added that if the ruling and honest institutions were sincere with the people, the problems would be solved, but if they considered every review as illegitimate for personal interests, the problems would not be solved. “The implementation of the law based on honest religious leadership, justice, and fairness can solve the problems,” he maintained.
He warned that if the ruling parties and powerful forces did not show their senses, they themselves would be responsible for the destruction of the political and democratic process. He concluded by saying that it would be the biggest shame of the ruling parties if they continued to deceive each other despite being together in power and parliament. “Neither party is ready to relinquish power nor is any party ready to oust someone on the basis of a principled stand,” he added.
