ISLAMABAD (PPI): PTI leader Fawad Chaudhary has said that as per the constitution, the elections should be held within 90 days after the dissolution of the assemblies.
Talking to the media on Wednesday, he said that PM Shehbaz Sharif is saying that the elections should be held in October. “If this is so, the cabinet should send its decision to the parliament and change the constitution with the two-thirds majority,” he opined.
The PTI leader said that the government should conduct the elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as per the court orders. “The constitution cannot be suspended only through statements and resolutions. The attitude denying the constitution is unacceptable,” he added.
