QUETTA (6 AM Report) : The Provincial Home Minister Balochistan, Mir Ziaullah Langau, on Monday has directed all concerned authorities to remain vigilant and keep their staff and machinery alert for any emergency situation due to the recent rains.
According to the minister, 4 people have lost their lives and 5 others have been injured in various districts of Balochistan due to heavy rainfalls. The injured have been provided with medical aid.
In compliance with the directives of the Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Abdul Qudous Bizenjo, the Home Minister has ordered all officers of the district administration to review and submit a detailed report of the damages caused by the rains to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) immediately.
The minister also expressed his condolences for the deceased and prayed for their forgiveness. He emphasized that the PDMA’s Provincial Control Room is closely monitoring the situation, and all District Emergency Operation Centers in Balochistan have been put on high alert.
Furthermore, the Home Minister has canceled the leave of the officers and staff of the PDMA Department, taking into account the current situation. The Minister has stressed the importance of being prepared for any emergency situation and has directed officials to remain vigilant to avoid any untoward incident.
