Pashtun leaders demand national unity, control over resources through politics

QUETTA (6 AM Report) : Leaders of the Pashtunkhawa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) addressed two regional conferences in Pishin, on Monday, expressing their views on the need for national unity and control over resources through politics.

They stated that backwardness and poverty were not written in fate but are due to exploitation, and that politics is the only way for Pashtuns to take control over their resources.

The party’s constitution contains the solution to all problems, including national unity. The speakers also highlighted the backwardness and deprivation of some areas in the Pashtun homeland and called for parties to unite the nation for their rights and prepare them for struggle to get their rights.

The leaders further exposed the worst rigging in the history of elections and the current selected, imposed government’s incompetence, corruption, commission, nepotism, flouting of merit, and especially Pashtun hostility. They called on the people to hold the government accountable.
