Toshakhana case: Court directs to give arguments on next hearing on maintainability of petition

ISLAMABAD (Online): District and Sessions Court Islamabad has adjourned the hearing of Toshakhana criminal proceedings case till May 05 owing to non presence of Khawaja Haris counsel for PTI chairman Imran Khan.

The case came up for hearing before District and Sessions court led by Additional Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar Wednesday.

At the inception of hearing of the case, Barrister Gauhar, member of legal team of Imran Khan told the court he had said during the previous hearing that Khawaja Harris would not be available today.

One day exemption plea was also filed on behalf of Imran Khan in the court.

The court accepted the exemption plea.

Barrister Gauhar and Faisal Chaudhry appeared on behalf of Imran Khan.

The court directed that arguments be given on the maintainability of the petition on next hearing.

The hearing of the case was adjourned till May 05.
