Posting of Balochistan Secretariat Officers in field violation of Rules: leader of BCSOWA

Protest of BCS officers remain continued:


QUETTA (6 AM Report): The protest of Balochistan Civil Service Officers (BCS) remained continued under the umbrella of BCS Officers Welfare Association (BCSOWA) in Quetta and other parts of the province on Thursday.
The BCS officers kept on observing pen down strike against merger of Balochistan Secretariat Service (BSS) cadre into BCS cadre and other initiatives taken by the provincial government.
They also lodged protest in the offices of Tehsil, other settlements and offices in the province. Meanwhile, addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club on Thursday, the senior leader of BCSOWA, Khuda-e-Rahim Mirwani announced three-days of protest against merger of the BSS cadre into BCS cadre. He also said that approval about posting of BSS officers in the field is just violation of the rules and regulations.
The decision of provincial government also violates certain judgments of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Mirwani added.

He said that if the decision was not averted then there would be an administrative crisis in the province. The BCS officers would announce their future of course action against the government’s decision soon, Khuda-e-Rahim Mirwani maintained.
