Provision of equal rights to masses is true democracy: Governor Balochistan

QUETTA (6 AM Report): The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has categorically stated that true democracy is to provide equal rights as well as even facilities and opportunities of progress to the masses. He said that he got to the conclusion in the light of his knowledge and experience during his political life that provision of equal rights, even facilities and equivalent opportunities of growth to the masses is actually real democracy.
Therefore, the policy of taking all along should also guarantee sustainable solution to the problems.
This and similar other views were expressed by the Governor while speaking to different delegations who called on him at the Governor House on Thursday.
The Governor on the occasion stressed that brotherhood and respect to difference of opinion is the essence of democracy.
He added that we have to promote national solidarity and unity to combat the chaos and division in the society. In this regard,   we need to raise voice for promotion of democratic norms and behaviours among the masses at every forum, adding he stressed.
The Governor also said that all are equal and bound to law equally in the real democracy. He said that the country’s prevailing circumstances require national unity and solidarity, and for the purpose, we would have to play our due role in national development and reconstruction setting aside mutual differences and personal interests, adding Governor stressed.
Meanwhile, speaking to the Chairman Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation, Naimatullah Zaheer, the Governor said that the public service is actually true politics.
He said that his doors are open for everyone as there is very much important of the masses and province to him. He said that Allah Almighty has given him an opportunity to serve the masses for he is indebted to Allah.
He appreciated the performance of Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation and said that it would be an honour for him to participate in the 31st anniversary of the Foundation.
Earlier, Naimatullah Zaheer invited Governor to participate in the anniversary of his welfare organization. He also extended an invitation to the Governor to visit Pishin, which was accepted by him.
Moreover, he briefed the Governor about overall performance and functioning of Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation.
