Court restrains respondents from taking further action against Sher, counsel for PTI

ISLAMABAD (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has restrained the respondents from taking further action against Sher Afzal Marwat, advocate of chairman PTI legal team till the details of the cases are received.

A single bench of IHC led by Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir took up the case for hearing Tuesday.

The court summoned details of the cases against the lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat till August 30.

The court while issuing notice to the respondents sought reply till August 30.

Lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat appeared in the court in person and said there was objection on his petition that biometric was not got done.

Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir remarked what is need of biometric by you.

Sher Afzal Marwat said biometric verification is must before filing petition.

The court inquired “ you want case. What is your application.

Lawyer Sher Afzal Murawat told the court when case is filed against the respondents they harass. To whom we make respondents they turn against us. Cases are being instituted on day to day basis. FIR was lodged against me in Attock.

He requested the court to summon details of the cases besides issuing orders for restraining them from arresting me.

The court while issuing the notice on the petition seeking details of the cases has sought report.

The court while restraining the respondents from taking action against Sher Afzal Marwat adjourned the hearing of the case till August 30.
