Ali Mardan Domki hosts dinner for caretaker PM:
QUETTA (6 AM Report): The caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki has believed that the caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar would play basic role in the timely execution of ongoing federal development projects in the province.
He also hoped that work would be started on the Pinjra Bridge in Bolan soon besides expediting work on expansion of the Khuzdar-Chaman highway. While the pace of project of Zhob-Kuchlak highway would also be expedited and rehabilitation of the affected bridges on Quetta-Karachi highway would also be ensured.
These views were expressed by the caretaker Chief Minister while speaking on occasion of the dinner hosted in honour of the caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar here on Saturday.
Also participated in the dinner was by the caretaker provincial ministers, advisors, senators and former members of provincial and national assemblies besides the political and tribal elders.
In his welcoming remarks, the caretaker Chief Minister said that it is an important historic day for the province that caretaker Prime Minister has visited the province. He said that it is our good luck that the caretaker Prime Minister belongs to Balochistan and he is well aware of the issues of the province.
He said that there are certain good news for the people of Balochistan in the visit of caretaker Prime Minister.
He said that caretaker PM has been briefed about the law and order situation as well as the ongoing development projects and other related matters.
In addition to this, he has also been briefed about the improvement in the reservoirs of water and issue of water in Quetta, adding Mr. Domki mentioned.
He said that certain important decisions have been made in the meeting chaired by the caretaker Prime Minister.
Mr. Kakar has issued directives for release of the desired funds for the important projects of roads and bridges in the province.
While he (caretaker PM) has also directed to start the phase-II of Kachhi canal project, besides getting briefing on the project of remodeling of the Pat Feeder canal. Hopefully this project would also be completed soon, the caretaker Chief Minister hoped.
Moreover, the caretaker Prime Minister also ordered to the concerned federal and provincial institutions to ensure improvement in law and order situation in the province, Mr. Domki referred to the decision made and directive issued during the meeting.
He also hoped that development projects of Balochistan would be included in the federal development programme on priority basis and the caretaker PM would also play important role in payment of the dues against federation and PPL.
In addition to this, Rs. 10 billion announced for relief and rehabilitation of the flood affected people would also be released soon, he hoped further.
