Caretaker Minister commends performance of PDMA for timely relief to affectees

QUETTA (6 AM Report) : While appreciating performance of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) for provision of relief during different disasters and emergent situation, the caretaker Provincial Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, Captain (Retd) Zubair Jamali has directed the concerned authorities to make the delivery and service system more effective so as to provide maximum relief to the people.

The caretaker Provincial Minister was speaking on occasion of the visit to PDMA head office here on Wednesday.

The Director General PDMA, Jahanzaib Khan briefed the Minister Home about the overall performance of his institution.

The Minister appreciated performance of the PDMA and said that it is commendable that it is providing timely information and services during the natural calamities and emergency circumstances all over the province.

He said that it is good to know that the PDMA and other concerned departments not only inform the people about the floods but also shift the affected people to the safer places and provide them the necessary financial assistance.
