Portfolios allotted to all new ministers: Interim cabinet of Balochistan expanded further; six more provincial ministers sworn in
QUETTA (6 AM Report): The interim cabinet of Balochistan was expanded further with six more members inducted in it on Wednesday.
With induction of six more members, the tally of caretaker provincial cabinet increased to 11. Those included are: Dr. Amir Muhammad Khan Jogezai, Amanullah Kanrani, Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani, Sheikh Mehmoodul Hasan Mandokhail, Sardar Ejaz Jaffar and Asifur Rehman.
Meanwhile, the newly elected members of the cabinet took oath the same evening at the Governor House.
The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar administered oath to the new caretaker Provincial Ministers at the ceremony.
Also present on the occasion was the caretaker Chief Minister, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki. The oath taking ceremony was also attended by the caretaker provincial Ministers, Advisors to the Chief Ministers, Chief Secretary, Inspector General of Police, other high ups besides the dignitaries from different walks of the life.
Later, the new caretaker Minister were also assigned the portfolios by the caretaker Chief Minister.
According to an official hand out issued here the same evening, Dr. Amir Muhammad Khan Jogezai was assigned the portfolio of Health, Amanullah Kanrani assigned the portfolio of Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Prosecution.
Similarly, Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani was given the portfolio of sports, Youth Affairs and Culture while Sheikh Mehmoodul Hasan Mandokhail and Sardar Ejaz Jaffar were assigned the portfolios of Local Government & Rural Development and Public Health Engineering & Population Welfare respectively while Asifur Rehman would serve as the caretaker Provincial Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination.
Soon after the oath taking, the Governor and caretaker Chief Minister greeted the new caretaker Provincial Ministers.
