ISLAMABAD (Online): PML-N senior leader and former federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that it is requirement of constitution and law that sentence of Nawaz Sharif should be annulled.
According to details former Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa has always stood with the supremacy of law and constitution in his entire judicial life. The constitution of bench that sentenced Nawaz Sharif was wrong.
Rana Sanaullah expressed this hope that Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa will declare such punishments null and void.
Earlier Former Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that President’s letter to Election Commission (EC) is of no importance.
President has not kept his constitutional status in mind.
They could not say that I have authority and the Election Commission is bound to conduct the elections.
The President has sent a letter of opinion to the Ministry of Law, he is bound by this opinion. They do not have the authority to give the date of elections.
Rana Sanaullah said that Election Commission has started process of constituencies.
It is also requirement of constitution that In May 2022, the PML-N had decided that they will go to the elections. Molana Fazal Al Rehman and Asif Zardari had forcefully convinced Nawaz Sharif.
Prime Minister (PM) was going to announce his resignation and dissolution of the Assembly. Nawaz Sharif expressed his consent after a great discussion.
