Caretaker Chief Minister asserts delay in completion of projects of roads’ construction intolerable

QUETTA (6 AM Report): The caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki has directed the concerned quarters to complete the projects of roads expansion and construction of the roads under Quetta Development Package.

He asserted that the delay in completion of the roads projects is intolerable.

The caretaker Chief Minister was speaking on occasion of inspection of work of under-construction Sabzal road, Sariab road, link Badini to Eastern bypass road on Wednesday.

Also accompanied with him were the Secretary Communications and Works, Ali Akbar Baloch, Commissioner Quetta, Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat, Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Flight Lineament (Retd) Saad bin Asad.

The Chief Minister reviewed the progress of different roads of Quetta Development Package. The Project Director Quetta Development Package, Rafiq Baloch briefed the caretaker Chief Minister about the package.

He informed that the speed of work on the Quetta development Package has been expedited after visit of the caretaker Chief Minister.

Rafiq Baloch also informed that 15 mosques are coming in the way of construction and expansion of roads under the Quetta Package. The talks are continued with management of the mosques for their alternates, he maintained.

On this, the caretaker Chief Minister directed the Project Director to complete the projects well in time as per the given schedule by holding talks with the management of mosques.

He also directed to do underground mapping while identifying the karezs during the construction and expansion of roads.
