MoU between GoB and Tech Valley:
QUETTA (6 AM Report): The Chief Secretary Balochistan, Shakeel Qadir Khan has stated that it is an important priority of the provincial government to provide livelihood to the degree holder male and female students in the province.
The Chief Secretary was speaking to the Chief Executive Officer of Tech Valley, Umar Farooq here on Wednesday.
Also present on the occasion were Secretary Education, Abdul Rauf Baloch, Commissioner Quetta, Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat and other concerned high ups.
The Chief Secretary said that the government is taking steps to provide job opportunities to youth of the province. He said that the online employment opportunities would get boost for students of the province under the memorandum of understanding between Government of Balochistan and Tech Valley (Google), which is a good initiative.
He said that 3,000 students would be imparted training about the online livelihood in the province. The Chief Secretary on the occasion thanked the Google for its cooperation and Tech Valley for its endeavours for the programme and said that such initiatives can pave the way for students to get jobs in future.
