Governor congratulates Pashtoon nation on Pashtoon Culture Day
QUETTA (6 AM Report): The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has greeted the whole Pashtoon nation on the Pashtoon culture day being observed today (Saturday).
In a felicitation statement issued here on Friday, the Governor Balochistan said that strong relationship exists between the Pashtoon and their culture. He said that the culture is the name of colourful and beauty of the social life in a specific geography.
He also said that the culture is actually is the name of leading collective way of life, and it is a collection of longstanding traditions and brilliant values, the Governor maintained.
The culture is also a historic continuity with which our past and present is associated and on the basis of which, we determine the direction of our future, he added.
He said that brotherhood, progressiveness and human friendliness are the strong combined values of the national culture, and we direly need to maintain and strengthen them mooulding according to the requirements of modern era.
The Governor was of the strong view that the spirit of every national culture is its mother language, so there is also a need to promote harmony and unity among different languages and civilizations.
