QUETTA (6 AM Report): The caretaker Provincial Minister for Information, Jan Achakzai, has rejected the propaganda against Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar’s recent visit to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), terming it a conspiracy against the interests of Pakistan by India and its proxies.

In a statement issued on Friday, Jan Achakzai said that Prime Minister Kakar’s visit to the UNGA was a success, and that it helped to improve Pakistan’s image on the international stage. He said that the negative propaganda against Pakistan at international events is a joint effort by Indian intelligence agencies and misguided political groups in Pakistan.

Achakzai said that India has been exposed in every international forum, including the G20, for its state terrorism and its involvement in the killings of Canadian citizens in Canada. He said that the misguided political elements in Pakistan are committing treason by playing into the hands of RAW.

Achakzai said that Prime Minister Kakar’s meetings with world leaders at the UNGA are proof of the success of his visit. He said that the Prime Minister’s engagements with world leaders helped to strengthen Pakistan’s ties with other countries and to promote Pakistan’s interests on the global stage.

“The propaganda against Prime Minister Kakar’s UNGA visit is baseless and unfounded,” Achakzai said. “It is an attempt by India and its proxies to undermine Pakistan’s standing in the world. The people of Pakistan should reject this propaganda and support the Prime Minister in his efforts to build a better Pakistan.”
