Pashtun Culture Day:
A joyous diversity and unity to be celebrated with national zeal on 23 September by PSO Quetta chapter
QUETTA(6 AM Report): The Pashtunkhwa Students Organization (PSO) Quetta Chapter is gearing up for a jubilant celebration of Pashtun Culture Day on September 23, 2023. This event promises to be a vibrant tribute to the rich cultural tapestry that unites us all, embodying the essence of diversity and unity within our nation.
A recent district committee meeting convened in Quetta, presided over by District Secretary Mr. Yar Muhammad Baryal and attended by Zonal Organizer Wahab Agha along with other esteemed office bearers from various educational institutions, focused on meticulous preparations for the upcoming Pashtun Culture Day.
During the meeting, participants passionately discussed concerns faced by students, including challenges with transportation and teacher absenteeism. Of particular concern were the students of Degree College Quetta, who grapple with transportation difficulties, and the lamentable conditions at Girls High School in Panjpai, where only four teachers shoulder the responsibility of educating the entire student body.
Addressing the participants, Mr. Yar and Mr. Agha emphatically voiced their disagreement with the policies of the incumbent government. They underscored PSO’s steadfast commitment to providing free and modern education in the mother language. The participants unanimously resolved to combine their efforts for the grand Culture Day event, scheduled to take place on 23rd September at Science College.
This celebration stands as a vibrant testament to our diverse cultural heritage, emphasizing our collective resolve to pave the way for a brighter educational future for our youth. The Pashtun Students Organization extends an open invitation to all citizens to join in this commemoration of Pashtun Culture Day, as we come together to cherish our heritage and foster unity.
