QUETTA (6 AM Report): The Chairman Pashtoonkhaw Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), Mehmood Khan Achakzai has categorically stated that Pakistan is passing through critical time, and the only way of salvation lies in the true democracy, free and fair elections and rule of people in the country.
He said that any one institution or government can’t resolve the present crisis the country is passing through, and as such a conference of all stakeholders may be convened to put the country on track.
The Chairman PkMAP was speaking to the media persons on occasion of the ceremony arranged marking the Pashtoon Culture Day celebrated at lawns of Quetta metropolitan Corporation on Saturday.
Also present on occasion were the senior leaders of PkMAP including Abdul Rahim Mandokhail, Abdul Qahar Wadhan and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Mehmood Khan Achakzai said that the situation is deteriorating with every passing day in the country. At the time, the crisis in country is severe, adding he mentioned.
He on the occasion referred to the record inflation saying that the price hike is on peak, and if we have option then we may run movements against inflation in the country.
The Chairman PkMAP on the occasion also said that our political parties have fallen prey to the compromises, however, PML-N central leader Nawaz Sharif emerged as the best leader after formation of PDM.
He said that we want such a Pakistan where there is dominance and supremacy of constitution and everyone accepts the law and constitution and source of power are the masses.
He stressed that the foreign and internal polies of the country should be independent.
He on the occasion also pleaded that the free and fair elections should be held in the country, which is the responsibility of Election Commission of Pakistan too.
