Haq Do Tehreek threatens to stage dharna for 3rd time, if illegal fishing not stopped: Baloch

QUETTA (6 AM Report): The head of Haq Do Tehreek, Maulana Hidayatur Rehman Baloch has threatened to stage protest dharna for the third time, if the illegal fishing was not stopped in Gwadar.

He also announced to observe shutter down and wheel jam strike from Gaddani to Gwadar.

He said that when there would be no livelihood then there would be hunger. And if there is no livelihood then the youngsters would move toward the mountains.

He said that we had struggled against the trawling mafia before and would also continue to do so in future.

The Haq Di Tehreek Chief was speaking to the media persons at a presser at Quetta press club on Monday.

Maulana Hidayatur Rehman said that we had started Haq Do Tehreek for resolving the issues of Gwadar and Makran two years ago.

We staged two dharnas for our issues and rights of the people, but force was used against us in second dharna, he recalled.

He said that he telephoned to the caretaker Prime Minister and Federal Interior Minister and apprised them about our issues.

He regretfully pointed out that the illegal trawling is continued despite presence of the federal and provincial institutions in the sea of Gwadar.

He said that implementation is not being made on our demands.
