Quetta Traffic Police FM Radio Service 88.6 launched 


QUETTA (6 AM Report): The Quetta Traffic Police launched the FM Radio 88.6 Service in the provincial metropolis on Thursday.

The Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh formally launched the FM Service.

Speaking on the occasion, the IGP said that the Traffic FM service has been started by Traffic Police in order to improve flow of traffic in Quetta city.

He said that FM radio service is being started from today.

The IGP said that radio service is very necessary in the traffic police.

He recalled that Traffic police FM Radio service had been launched by Sindh police 10 years ago. He noted that the launch of Radio Service was delayed due to the lack of resources and remoteness of the areas.

Despite all odds, we started Radio service in the Traffic police, adding he mentioned.

He said that the listeners  would be able to know about the flow of traffic in specific areas.

He urged the people to fully benefit from the Traffic Radio service while moving on the roads.

Moreover, the IGP also talked about the action taken against non-customs paid vehicles besides the vehicles parked wrongly.

In addition to this, the IGP also pointed out that we have been working on the investigation, Madadgar and traffic section for long and we have been succeeding in bringing about improvements in the police force.
