QUETTA (6 AM Report):The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has stated that the present government is determined to materialize the dream of educated Balochistan.
In this regard, the role and guidance of our teachers can be helpful.
He stressed that heavy responsibilities rest with the shoulders of teachers along with the government to increase the literacy rate and decorate the poor children of remote districts of the province.
This and similar other views were expressed by the Governor in a message issued marking World Teachers Day on Wednesday.
He said that the very objective behind observance of World Teachers Day is to highlight the high character and dignity of the teachers.
He said that while the teachers are valued and held in high esteem in the civilized society but our religion set a new example by giving teachers the status of spiritual father.
He said that the teachers play important role in spreading light of knowledge and consciousness.
He stressed that we need help and guidance of the national and international institutions for building capacity of teachers in the educational institutions.
The Governor also appreciated the role of female teachers in the province and said that they are performing well despite the lack of necessary facilities and economic hardships.
He also stressed that we need to pay attention on the proper training of girl and boy students alongside their education.
