Joint operation stressed to prevent crimes on national highway in Notal & Bhag areas

QUETTA (6AM Report): The caretaker Provincial Minister for Home, Captain (Retd) Mir Zubair Jamali has stressed the need to conduct joint operation for prevention of the crimes on Notal, Bhag national highway.

In this regard, joint patrolling of the levies and police on the highway.

This was stressed at a meeting held on the law and order situation with the caretaker provincial Minister Home in the chair here on Friday.

The Additional Chief secretary Home, Saleh Muhammad Nasar was also present in the meeting. The Commissioner Naseerabad, Deputy Inspector General of police, Sibi Range, Deputy Commissioners of Sibi and Kachhi participated in the meeting through video link.

The meeting was briefed about the incidents of crimes on the national highway.

The DIG police Special Branch, Ali Sher Jhakrani and Deputy Commissioner Kachi briefed the participants of meeting.

It was informed that the crimes occur on 12 kilometer area on the highway.

The Inspector General of police has approved two platoons of Balochistan Constabulary for Bhag.

The caretaker Minister on the occasion assured that full protection would be provided to the Hindu community.

He said that incidents of crime are intolerable and as such targeted operation would be conducted against dacoits.
